Two children from each class are chosen to be 'Sports Leaders' and are responsible for helping to organize and implement sporting events throughout the school year. The Sports Leaders provide excellent encouragement to all children during the 'Santa Dash', which everybody thoroughly enjoys. They also assist with a diverse range of activities during 'Healthy and Active Fortnight', including: Football, Athletics, Multi-Skills, Gymnastics, Dance, Scooters, Go Karts and Zumba.
Healthy Lunch Box Week.
The Health Champions worked with Active Sefton to reward children for the healthy swaps they made at lunchtime. The children and parents made a fantastic effort and all of the children were rewarded with a sticker.
St Robert Bellarmine Christmas Fayre
The Year 5&6 Sport Leaders also ran a stall at the school Christmas Fayre, their stall was 'Pin the nose on the Snowman.'
The four children were confident, polite, helpful and extremely organised. They had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the responsibility of running their stall.
All of the children who took part received a sweet and those that managed to pin the nose accurately were rewarded with a Christmas chocolate lolly.
All of the staff were incredibly proud of these children and visiting adults also commented on how well they organised themselves.
Congratulations again Sports Leaders, what a busy day you had!
