Our Parish

Our Parish

“We are God’s work of art.”

We are fortunate to be linked with St Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Bootle.

Our children enjoy attending Mass on Fridays and taking part in sharing the readings.

Our school and church are named after St Robert Bellarmine and we celebrate his feast day together every year on 17th September. Robert Bellarmine was an Italian Jesuit and a cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was canonized a saint in 1930 and named Doctor of the Church, one of only 36. He was one of the most important figures in the Counter-Reformation.

Feast of St Robert Bellarmine Mass

Year 2 to Year 6 attended mass to celebrate the Feast Day for St Robert Bellarmine. This gave us the opportunity to join our parish to begin our year together. Our Y6 prefects, Sports leaders & School Councillors were awarded their badges too following a blessing from Fr Mark.

We love getting our parish community involved in school life and regulary invite them to join us for important events throughout the year.

They recently enjoyed a Pop Club concert along with some tea and biscuits. Year 6 joined the parish members and it was a great afternoon for all who attended!.

School Mass

Fr Faustinus and our governors joined our school in the hall to celebrate the Eucharist.
