Play In A Day - World War II
In Year 6 we have been studying World War II and this term we focused on what life was like in Bootle during this period of History.
To learn more about life during WWII we worked with a drama company to learn and perform a Play - In - A - Day. We focused on how it would feel for the different family members when the father or son was sent off to war. We also thought about how it would feel like to be an evacuee and the different experiences the evacuees may have had.
We all had a great day and learnt a lot about life in Bootle during WWII.
