Week 6 - 11.05.20

Hi Year 3,

I hope you have all had another lovely week with your families. As always, I am missing you so much and hoping we can be back to school soon! I hope you celebrated VE day in style!

Thank you for all the emails this week, I have loved receiving them! If you haven’t sent me one yet, then I look forward to receiving one soon. This is the email -  Y3@strobertbellarmine.co.uk. I would love to see a picture of some work you’re really pleased with emailed to me this week!

Keep working on TTRockstars and EpicReading as these are so important! As a class, you have already read 400 books! I am so proud of how hard you are all working on this! You have read 75 books this week alone! What an achievement!

Sumdog are running a national competition at the moment and you have all been entered in. I can see that some of you have already been taking part so well done! I would really love to see everyone in our class taking part in the competition. If you are unsure of your Sumdog username and password, then you can email me using our class account and I will send it over. The competition started on Friday and is running for one week, so you still have time to take part! We need at least ten children to take part to be in with a chance to win - I know we can do it Year 3!

can't believe that it has almost been two months since we were all together! Mrs McBride and I have been talking about how much we are missing you all and hope to be reunited soon. I know you are all missing your friends a lot too and I don't blame you - we have a great class! I loved hearing about some of you meeting up on a Zoom chat! (Mrs McBride and I understand that our invites must have got lost!) If you want to say hello to your friends, why not send a tweet (@stbellarmine) for them to see how much fun you are having at home?

Stay safe everyone!

Miss Durnin and Mrs McBride xx
