Week 7 - 18.05.20

Hi Year 3,

I hope you have all had another lovely week at home. As always, I am missing you so much and hoping we can be back to school soon!

Thank you for all the emails this week, I have loved receiving them! You are all making me so proud with how hard you are working for your parents at home. You should also be so proud of your parents for the hard work they are doing to help you. I have a challenge for you all this week – I want you to do something kind for your parents to say thank you for how much they are doing at the moment. Maybe you will make them a cup of tea or coffee, draw them a picture, write them a poem or just give them a nice big hug! Tweet or email me what you do to say thank you to Y3@strobertbellarmine.co.uk. I can’t wait for the emails already!

Well done AGAIN everyone as you have successfully read 500 books on Epic Reading! Amazing!  Can I just remind you to make sure you are reading the ones I have assigned for you? I found some great ones about some of our different history, geography and science topics for you to read and have assigned those!

Have you all been checking in to TTRockstars each day? I am going to challenge you again this week (but I’m keeping the day I send the challenge a secret) so make sure you check in every day and spend at least ten minutes working on your times tables. Thank you to the children who also took part in the Sumdog competition this week. Even though the competition is over, you can still continue to log in and play online. If you need your log-in then please email and I will send it over.

Stay safe everyone!

Miss Durnin and Mrs McBride xx
