Children In Need
We held a collective worship and prayed for children who need support during difficult times. We wore our pjyamas to raise money for this good cause and families were extremely generous once again with their donations. Thank You!
Remembrance Day
We gathered to observe a two minute silence On Remembrance Day. We said prayers and payed respect to those affected by conflict and talked about wearing poppies because these were the flowers that grew on the battlefield after World War 1 ended.
Give racism the red (or blue) card!
Year 1 gave racism the red card! We learned about Black History month and talked about how some people are treated unfairly because of the colour of their skin. We all know how important it is to stand up and say no to racism.
R.E.
We held a collective worship to give thanks for the harvest and to thank God for everything we have. we also thanked our parents who were extremely generous in their donations.
Design & Technology
We made pivots and sliders in DT based on the book we are reading 'Room on the Broom'. We had a brilliant morning using lots of skills!
Hello Yellow!
We raised awareness of mental health by wearing yellow and discussing ways in which we can have positive mental health. We supported the charity Young Minds and reminded ourselves that we are never alone, there is always someone to talk to.

We had a cake sale to raise money for Macmillan. Thank you boys and girls for your very generous donations! We also held a collective worship to pray for people who need support.
