A message from Mrs Devine and Mrs Rigby

Hello Year five,

I hope you and your families are all safe and well and that you are getting used to working at home! Mrs Rigby and I really miss you all and are looking forward to seeing you soon, when we get back to normal!

Thank-you very much for working so hard on the activities which have been sent home. Remember to spread the activities you have left out over the week and keep trying your best! You don't have to print the work out, you can record your answers in your exercise book.

It is really important that you keep up with your reading. A little reading time each day will make a huge difference! Just like we do in school, you could record the name of the book, write a comment and give it a star rating out of 5.

You can also keep up your times table practise too! Log onto TT Rockstars and enjoy the games, you could even try to work your way up the leaderboard.

Senorita has also given you some Spanish activities you could try and has written you a letter as well. Click onto the Spanish page on our school website to find them.

As well as the activities we have sent home, there are also lots of things to do online. Joe Wicks is doing a P.E. lesson every morning at 9am (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX05HHni9Wk) and David Walliams is reading a story at 11am on his website (https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com).

We would love to see any work you have done, please share it with us on twitter, using the twitter handle @strobert, #Y5SRB.

Please say a big thank you to all you families for their help and support with your home school activities, we really appreciate it and thank-you to you for trying your best and working hard.

Stay safe and well and take care.

I will write you another letter soon and I am working on some more activities for you to do while you are not in school.

We miss you very much

Mrs Devine and Mrs Rigby x
