As it is the last week of term and you have some additional tasks in the transition folder, I have given you a variety of English tasks that you can choose from during the week. Some will take you longer than others. 

 

Chris Hoy - Comprehension and Short Writing Task. 

Be inspired by Olympian Chris Hoy, his book talks to us about how we can all be our own champions. Answer the questions in your book or on a piece of paper. I hope you enjoy the extracts.  

Marcus Rashford Comprehension 

Marcus Rashford has been in the news recently because of his successful campaign to persuade the government to provide free school meals to children over the Summer Holidays. Find out more about him in the text and then answer the questions.
