Hello Year 4

Morning all,

How are we all? We hope you've had a good week despite the lousy weather. There are now only two weeks of home learning left before you can have a well earned break, recharge the batteries and prepare to enter the upper juniors!

I can see that many of you are enjoying the books on Epic reading and are reading a range of texts, this is really important so well done everyone. You are also keeping up with your maths work too using TTRockstars and Sumdog, this will help keep your key maths facts quick and easy to recall and help to develop your mathematical fluency.

Week 13’s activities are on the class webpage for you. As always focus on maths, English, reading and spellings and choose from the activities that are available covering the other subjects.

This week is the return of the healthy pudding challenge for Design and Technology. Unfortunately we cannot taste your delicious creations but why not make a healthy pudding for your family to try out? Remember to send us your pictures and tweets so we can see what you have created.

It is also the final week to get in your RE artwork to enter the competition. You will find more details in the RE folder on our class page for week 13. Just to remind you, there are 3 RE questions to use as inspiration for your artwork and you can follow the links to find to ideas of what other children have done in the past. Your entries will be displayed in St Robert Bellarmine church for the parishioners to see and there will be prizes for winning entries too.

Remember to try and send us one piece of work each week to the email – Y4@strobertbellarmine.co.uk. It’s a great way for us to stay in touch and we love seeing what you’re up to. You can also just send an email to say hello or ask any questions about the work we've put on the class page.

You've all been doing so well over the last few weeks. Times have been difficult and stressful but you have shown great character and great resilience to keep working hard. We are very proud of you all. Keep it up.

Stay safe everyone!

#keepitkind
