Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

We would like to begin by saying another huge thank you for your continued help and support – we are really grateful for all that you are doing! We hope that you managed to enjoy some of the wonderful sunshine over the half term holiday.

Thank you once again to those of you who have been in touch with us on our class email. If you have any questions or would like to share any of your child’s work with us, remember you can contact us at Y6@strobertbellarmine.co.uk. The children can also contact us themselves or share work with us on here too.

Please note that there is an important letter in the RE section of our class work this week which will explain how to support your child with their RE work throughout the next topic. We would really appreciate if you could take the time to read it please.

Thank you once again for the tweets – we really enjoy seeing them. We know how busy you all are at the moment but it would be great if you can tweet what the children have been up to using the handle @StBellarmine and #Y6SRB.

As mentioned in our letter before half term, in addition to the weekly work there are now links on our class webpage to SEND information, the RE section of the school website and the PE page. These are regularly updated and are another source of information for you.

Finally, please remember, as we always say, although it is important that your child continues with their learning whilst at home, their health and well-being (along with your own) is just as important. Therefore, please ensure that you continue to take time as a family to relax. If your child is struggling with their work one day, please factor in more breaks for them or direct them to some of the mindfulness and well-being activities that we have provided. You are all doing an amazing job and we can’t thank you enough.

Take care and stay safe.

We look forward to catching up with you over emails this week.

Love Mrs McQuiggan  and Mrs Johnson xx
