Letter to Year 4 Parents

Dear parents,

We hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and well and that despite the weather

you all had a lovely weekend and managed to have a well-deserved break. Thank you once again for all that you are doing at home – we are eternally grateful and can’t thank you enough. We know we are beginning to sound like a broken record but it really does need to be said.

The activities for week 11 are available on the Year 4 class page of the website for the children to access. As always, there is a mixture of maths, English and Reading resources for the children to work on. They can choose other activities if they wish and if time allows. This week there is science, PSHE,  computing, RE and Spanish. There are also some additional activities that they may like to try.

There is also a second Coronavirus Toolkit, offering links to leaflets and videos giving advice on how to support children during this time. We hope they are helpful.

If you follow the R.E. link you will find the activities for our new topic, The Universal Church. Mrs McQuiggan has written a letter to provide further guidance on these resources and you can find this letter on the same page.

Don't forget, it is time for the Rainbow Games this week. After practice sessions last week everybody should be ready to go! Again follow the link on our class webpage to  find a selection of fun games the children can take part in at home. They can fill in their score card and email it to our class email address below. We hope they enjoy taking part and we would love to see some photographs on twitter if that is possible.

You have all been amazing so far in the work that you are doing at home with your children – thank you so much for your continued support!

Take care,

Sir & Mrs Sutton
