Message for Parents and Carers

Dear Parents,

This week is the last week of home schooling, I can imagine it is a relief! Sadly that means that it is time to leave Year 2 I cannot thank you enough for all your support and help with home schooling, you have done a wonderful job and I hope that you have a lovely Summer.

I have uploaded this week’s work to the class page, under week 14.  As well as some of the usual activities, there are transition tasks that provide the children with the opportunity to reflect on all they have achieved in Year 2 and to think about their aims for next year, there is an activity that can be completed each day. This week’s health and wellbeing toolkit focuses on transition and the children may find this useful too. I have also included some fun extra activities in for the children to complete.

There is no timetable this week choose work through the activities as you wish. I do think the transition activities are worth looking at you.

To support your child with transition, please take a look at the Year 3 transition page where you can find useful information about Year 3 and there is a booklet for the children to complete and take to their new class in September.

Reports are available to collect from the school office and I would like to say a big well done to all the children for how hard they have worked over the year and for all their achievements. I am sure you are very proud of them!

Mrs Bonner and myself are really sorry that we didn't get the chance to spend the whole year with your children. We would like to thank you for all of your support this year and say that all of the children in the class are a credit to you.

Thank-you again and we looking forward to seeing you all in September.

Mrs Connell and Mrs Bonner
