Good morning Year Two,
We hope you are all safe and well and have managed to have a lovely Easter break with lots of chocolate! We just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for working so hard, we appreciate it a lot.
All of your work for this week is on the class page and we have tried to make it a bit easier for you to find what you need to do each day and spread it out over the week. There is now a timetable to help you organise your week if you need it, we do understand that it can be hard knowing what you need to do and when. Each subject has its own section on our class page and the activities have been numbered so that you know what order to do things in. If any activity is taking you longer that 45 minutes to complete please come back to it another time, just do as much as you can - don't worry!
As we are all working at different levels there may be parts of the work that you may need help to complete after talking to an adult or working with them, that is ok. If it is possible for us to do so we have given different levels of activity to complete, choose the right one for you, but be ambitious at the same time. If you need to replace the numbers in any calculations to ones that you are able to work with please do that. We do understand that things can be difficult.
It is lovely to see how much you have been reading using Epic! There have been 204 books completed so far and as a class you have read for a total of 43.5 hours! That is amazing! We assigned books before Easter for you to read all about orangutans, not many of you have accessed them so we will leave them on until Friday and then change them to books all about Australia. You can access any assigned books by clicking on the mailbox which is in the top of the page in the right corner.
Please when you can continue to go on Numbots and Sumdog, keep an eye out as activities may be set on there for you to complete.
On Wednesday 22nd April at 10am we hope you are able to take part in the Keepy Up Challenge, Mrs Liggat would love you to tweet photos or videos of you taking part!
We have really enjoyed seeing your Tweets, they have made us smile knowing that you are all busy enjoying yourself and learning. Please keep sending them using @stbellarmine #Y2SRB and we will re-tweet and reply to them.
Remember to take time to relax and enjoy being with your family too!
We are missing you all, thank you for working hard for us,
Mrs Connell and Mrs Bonner
