Good morning Year 5,
How are you all? Have you been enjoying the lovely weather and managing to have some fun outside? I hope you are all ok and had a good week.
Thank-you for your emails this week, it has been lovely to keep in touch with you and seeing what you have been up to. You all continue to work extremely hard so well done and keep trying your best.
Week 12’s activities are on the class webpage for you. Remember it’s important to keep up with your reading, maths/times tables and spellings as this will help you when you return to your lessons in school. I can see that many of you have been enjoying reading the books on Epic Reading and we are doing really well. We have a new badge, to say that you have read 150 books as a class. This fantastic everyone, well done!
This week you will also find some geography work on biomes, science work on offspring and a great art activity for you to try too. There is also RE and Spanish work from Senorita. You don’t have to complete everything but look for activities you are interested in and may enjoy and give those a try.
How are getting on with the 14 day Coronavirus challenge? You can find it in the folder entitled, Quiz and Extras. There are a list of activities that you can try, which will help support your health and wellbeing as this is just as important as our reading, writing and maths!
Also, how did you get on with the Rainbow Games? I hope you enjoyed the activities and remember if you have filled in your score-card, email it to our class email address and receive your certificate.
We love to hear from you so please send us your messages, pictures and work using the details below.
