Monday - Mary Seacole Comprehension

We have been thinking about Florence Nightingale who was a famous nurse who changed hospitals forever. At the time of the Crimean War there was another nurse called Mary Seacole, she too travelled to help and met many obstacles on her way. She is best known for her work as a nurse, business woman and an inspiring role model. You will find out more information about Mary Seacole when you read the information and answer the questions below.

 

Write your answers in your exercise book if you are unable to print it off. There are three levels of difficulty to choose from, one star is the simplest, two stars is quite straightforward and three stars is the most difficult. I have left the answers in so that you can check, but please only do this once you have finished.
