Our Trip to Tatton Park

We experienced what it was like to be an evacuee, during the War, on our trip to Tatton Park. We met Aunt Mary who we would be staying with, she was very kind and allowed us to make a piece of toast over her coal fire (even though she worried about her food rations!) We learnt all about an evacuee’s day and the work they would help with on the farm.
