Play in a Day - The Vikings
Year 6 had a great day on their learn and present with Altru Drama! They put together a fantastic play for our school all about the vikings!
Moel Famau Trip
Year 6 strengthened their resilience and determination by working together to climb Moel Famau with support from the NEWSAR volunteers. They had a wonderful day and most importantly made it to the top with smiles on their faces!
Feast of St Robert Bellarmine
The children from Year 2 to Year 6 attended mass to celebrate the Feast Day for St Robert Bellarmine. This mass also gave us the opportunity to join with our parish community to begin our year together.
School Council Elections
Democracy has been in action! Our Year 6 children voted for their councillors who will represent them this year. Well done to everyone who put themselves forward!
Hokusai Mission Display
For our Mission Display this year, Year 6 studied the work of Japanese artist Hokusai. They recreated his work, 'The Wave' to represent how our school mission statements can help guide them through the year.
Science - Light Investigation
Year 6 have been working scientifically to find out if light can bend or if it will travel only in a straight line. They all used their prior knowledge from y3 to predict that it can only travel in straight lines and that opaque objects will block light.
