Art

This week you will continue thinking about Aboriginal art in particular the symbols used. You will listen to a Dreamtime story and illustrate it using symbols that are used in Aboriginal Art. 

 

Read the information in the PowerPoint then use the story cards to illustrate a section of the story in Aboriginal style.

 

There are 3 activities for you to choose from -

  • Use story card A - think about what the characters might have passed when they took wombat to the tasty grass. 
  • Use story card B - think about where the characters might have looked for wombat at the end of the story
  • Use story card B - think about where kangaroo might have gone when it was chased by the hunter

 

Use these to produce your own drawing or painting using the symbols you have learnt about.
