Hello Year Two,
We hope you have all had a lovely weekend and that you are all doing well and still managing to smile. We are very proud of you all and are so pleased that you are working so hard. Please keep going!
All of the activities for this week are now on our class page. Remember to focus on reading, maths, English and spellings if you can't manage to get through the other activities. This week you have got activities to complete on Tuesday all about Empathy as it is Empathy Day. Empathy means that you can understand how others feel and it allows you to be kind and understanding towards others. There are some activities for you to try in the afternoon activities section and your English activity is based on a book that asks you to consider the feelings of others. Books have been assigned to you on Epic all about this topic also.
There is also an activity all about the positives that have come from lockdown. You may have enjoyed spending time with your family, learning a new skill or doing activities you really enjoy.
Thank- you for your emails and tweets, they really make us smile! Keep them coming. We love to hear from you and see what you have been working on!

Over the next few weeks I will try to phone all those not in school, just to say hello. I can’t wait to speak to you and hear all about what you have been up to!
Take care,
Mrs Connell and Mrs Bonner
