Dear parents,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to have a well-deserved break.
Week 11 activities are available on the school website, on the year five class page for the children to access.
As always, there are maths, English and Reading resources for the children to work on. They can choose other activities if they wish and if time allows. This week there is science, the final history lesson on the Maya, computing, Spanish and art. There are also lots of extra activities they may enjoy too.
There is also a second Coronavirus Toolkit, offering links to leaflets and videos giving advice on how to support children during this time. I hope they are helpful.
In the R.E. folder, you will find activities for our new topic, The Universal Church. Mrs McQuiggan has written a letter to provide further guidance on these R.E. resources and you can find this letter in the R.E. folder.
Finally, it is time for the Rainbow Games this week. Again on our class webpage you can find a selection of fun games the children can take part in at home. They can fill in their score card and email it to our class email address below. We hope they enjoy taking part and we would love to see some photographs on twitter if that is possible.

As always I would like to say thank-you for your support and all your hard work. There are a lot of different activities on the website aimed at covering different areas of the curriculum and to cater for the children’s varying interests, but there is no expectation to do it all. Please continue to do whatever works best you and your family.
Take care,
Mrs Devine and Mrs Rigby.
