Today I would like you to imagine that you were on holiday at the seaside. I would like you to write a postcard to me telling me what you have been doing. I have included a PowerPoint to show you how to write a postcard.

 

You need to include/think about

 

  • You can design a front cover for your postcard with the name of the place on it
  • Tell me where you are and what it is like there, it could be in England or abroad
  • Tell me what you have been doing and what your favourite thing to do there is, think of the type of things you can do at the seaside
  • End your postcard in a friendly way e.g. see you soon

 

Don't forget to read your sentences to check that they make sense, check that you have punctuated your sentences correctly and finally check over your spellings.
