• Summer Footwear

  Reminder Summer Footwear

  Many of the girls are coming into school wearing unsuitable footwear which is not school uniform. Girls can wear white sandals or black shoes with no heels, no plastic/jelly shoes, or pumps/trainers. The children are frequently falling over and hurting themselves. Boys should wear a plain black shoe, not trainers. Could you please make sure that when the children return on Monday 4^th June that they have the correct footwear on.

• Warning Illegal Parking

  Dear Parents/carers

   

  We have been requested by the Police to take all the registrations of the cars that stop/park on the yellow zig zag line outside school AT ANY TIME.

   

  We are very concerned that this could potentially cause a serious incident with children/parents crossing the road.

   

  Would you please inform everyone who will be picking up your children.

   

  Thank you.

  This action is for the sole purpose of keeping children safe!

   

• School Meals

  We conducted a small survey on the school meals. We asked the children if they preferred the Deli Bar or pasta, overwhelmingly they prefer the Deli Bar.

   

  So as a result of this starting next week the Deli Bar will be served on 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and the pasta 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday).

   

• Summer Uniform

  Summer School Uniform

  A general reminder about Summer School Uniform.

  Girls:-

  • Blue and white check dress

  • White or maroon cardigan

  Or usual winter uniform

  Please note shoes for summer must be plain black or white sandals – NOT PUMPS/TRAINERS

   

  Boys:

  • usual winter uniform

  Shoes: Plain black shoes. Again please note training shoes are not school uniform.

   

   

  PE Kit

  Please can we ask that children wear the school kit of white t-shirt and maroon shorts with black pumps as increasingly children are bringing in a variety of kit which is not school uniform.

• Royal Wedding and SWACA

  Royal Wedding and SWACA

  To celebrate the Royal Wedding the children can wear red, white or blue clothing on Friday 18^th May. Could you please send a donation of a £1, all proceeds will be given to a local charity SWACA (Sefton Women’s and Children’s Aid).

  The School Council have organised two Charity Fundraising Days on Monday 21^st and Tuesday 22^nd May. They will be outside school collecting any loose change that you can donate again this money will be donated to SWACA.

  Friday 25^th May is Non uniform day for any toys in good condition.

  SCHOOL BREAKS UP AT 3PM FRIDAY 25^TH MAY AND RETURNS ON MONDAY 4^TH JUNE AT 8.55AM.
