    Severe Weather Procedures

We will try our utmost to keep school open as usual when there is severe weather.

If there is snow and/or ice we will keep the gate to the playground locked and ask for parents to bring KS2 (Juniors) children to the main entrance and KS1 (Infants) children to the Breakfast club entrance (where KS1 children are collected at 3.00pm). These doors will be open from approximately 8.40am to allow children to come into school safely.

In the afternoon children will leave school by these same routes.

We will always try to contact you by texting or by information via the website if the school day is affected due to adverse weather.

  • Sierra Leone News

    Thu 18 Dec 2014

    18th December 2014

    Dear Parents,

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and your children for all your support and generosity in the lead up to Christmas. The Christmas Fair was a great success and we raised £2300. Thank you to all those who helped make the event run so smoothly. The children really enjoyed it.

I am also very proud to tell you that over a period of approximately 6 months, through a wide variety of fundraising events, our school has made a total of £2250 which will be given to the Waterloo Partnership in Sierra Leone and will directly benefit those families there. This is an unbelievable achievement! Together with the other 4 local schools in the partnership we have actually raised over £20 000, beating easily the original target of £10 000. This could never have happened without your support and I thank you wholeheartedly for that!

Finally may I wish you all a lovely Christmas and a happy new year and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 5th January!

    Best wishes,

    Mairead O’Neill Dowell
